Public transport from Cluj Napoca to Petreștii de Jos (Turda Gorges) and Aiton

Good news, from June 1st we have public transport to Petreștii de Jos, from where we can quickly reach Cheile Turzii. There is also a request from the Association of the Sustainable Organized Society SOS, which emphasizes public mobility as an alternative to private car traffic, from public transport in the metropolitan area, to pedestrian paths and alleys.
In the case of transport in Petresti, several forces, power, opposition, residents, the associative environment have rallied, so it would be worth studying when certain causes are successful. For some time, we have been asking for the residents of Gilau, but also for tourists, a Someșan route to the upstream lakes, Gilau, Someșul Cald and Tarnita. The cost of such a bus route, all day, one hour each way, 30 km, is approx. 5 thousand lei, but the costs can be covered from the ticket price and subsidies, especially since the locality of Gilau, within whose radius the three lakes are located, is already integrated into the metropolitan transport provided by CTP.

Although the two communes are at a considerable distance from the municipality of Cluj-Napoca, Petrestii de Jos (30.8 km) and Aiton (17.7 km) were accepted as members of the Cluj Metropolitan Public Transport Association.
According to the draft decision, a ticket from Cluj-Napoca to the commune of Petrestii de Jos will cost 15 lei, and the cost of a monthly subscription amounts to 300 lei. The price of a ticket from Cluj-Napoca to the village of Aiton (the commune's seat) is 12 lei and 14 lei to the village of Rediu.
