Rezervatia naturala Cheile Turzii

Due to its scientific importance and wild beauties, Cheile Turzii has acquired, at national level, since 1938, the status of nature reserve, later being included in the U.N.E.S.C.O. among the most important monuments of nature.

In Cheile Turzii there is an app. 1,000 floristic species, plant species including rare chalcophilous plants, some endemic, such as: wild garlic (popularly called Onion of the Key Crow), Jugastul, Scorusul, Piciorul Cocosului, Garofita alba, odoleanul, omagul, iris purplish, vulturica, and so on
